VAZ-2108 - a front-wheel drive three-door hatchback produced since from 1984 to 2003. Currently it is replaced by VAZ-2113. It was originally designed as the Soviet version of the western concept of "machine for housewives" - a three-door hatchback, relatively compact, for a young family with small children, which meant rear seats. Nevertheless, even in the Soviet period this car was a kind of "youth sports" model.
