Chevrolet Malibu - middle class car from Chevrolet. Previously, it was a cheap version of Chevrolet Chevelle, but became quite another car since 1978. Originally had rear-wheel drive, but in 1997 it became front-wheel drive. Malibu is traditionally sold primarily in North America, but the new Malibu model, introduced in 2012, will be sold in most global markets.
