W221, the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz executive cars sold under Mercedes-Benz S-Class name, recieved small facelift in 2009. S-Class received a hybrid version, updated three-liter V6 petrol (231 hp), as well as upgraded six-and eight-cylinder diesel engines. Exterior changes included headlamps with LED strips, LED taillights, more rigorous front bumper with LED "dimensions" and new exhaust pipes. In addition, after this update, the car received a display with «Split View», 'smart' headlamps and adaptive cruise control with emergency braking function
